OUR PEOPLE

Mr. Arai received his B.S. in Physics from Nihon University in 2017 and qualified as a patent attorney in 2017. He qualified in 2023 as an IP infringement litigator (Qualified as having passed the Specific Infringement Litigation Representation Examination under Article 15 bis of the Patent Attorneys Law in Japan).

After working for TMI Associates, he joined SOEI in 2020. He has dealt with prosecutions, appeals, and consultations in the fields of mechanical and electrical technologies including optical devices, semiconductor devices, and the like.

He completed training programs in Washington D.C. in 2023. He has served as a delegate of SOEI to international intellectual property conferences such as INTA annual meetings.
